For  the  purposes  of  these  terms  and  conditions ,  ΤΑΤΟΙ CLUB  represented  by  Mrs Elli Vizantiou is  referred  to  as  “the Owner”   and   Ville d’Oro (Villa Doria and  Villa  Spada)   is  referred to  as “the Property”.

1.Agreement

1.1. These  terms  and  conditions  form  the  basis  of  the  agreement between you  and  “the Owner”  for  the  holiday  rental  of “the Property” .

1.2.By  signing  the Booking Form  you  agree that you  are  over  18  years  of  age and  that  you  accept  full responsibility  for  all payments  due  and  for  the  consequences  of  any  actions of  all persons who  will use  the  Property  during  your  holiday.

2.Booking

2.1.The  Owner will confirm the  booking on  receipt  of  the  Booking Form  and  a  deposit of  one  third (1/3) of the  holiday  rental  fee (The  Deposit) .

2.2. Once  the  Owner  has   confirmed the  booking  from  you and  has  received  the Deposit  then  an  agreement  exists  between us  on  these  terms  and  conditions.

2.3.The  Owner will accept a  provisional booking  and  reserve  the  Property for  your  holiday  provided  that  we  receive  the  Deposit  from  you   within  5  working  days.

2.4.If the  holiday  is  due  to  start within 8  weeks (56 days) of the date of  booking the  total of  the  holiday rental fee is  payable  at  the  time  of booking.

2.5.No subsequent changes  may  be  made  to  any  part  of  the  Booking  Form without the Owner’s express  written  approval .

3.Final Payment

3.1. The  balance of  the  holiday  rental fee less any Deposit will become due 8 weeks (56 days)  before the start of the holiday . The Owner will not  send  you a  reminder or  a  receipt unless you specifically  requested  one . If the  balance is  not  received on time the Owner  reserves the right  to cancel your booking and  retain the Deposit.

3.2.At this time you will provide a  security  deposit of 600€  by  cheque / or deposit to bank account to  the  Owner which will be  held and  returned to you within 14 days of your vacation of the Property providing that no breakages or damages  are caused during your stay.

4.Cancellation

4.1. You may cancel your   booking  at  any  time provided you do so  by  directly e-mailing the Owner  but  the following cancellations will apply :

56 days & more from arrival date   :    Loss of Deposit

55-0 days : 100% of  total forfeit  unless  the property can be re-let for the equivalent amount , in this case a 200€  admin  fee will be retained plus any additional  marketing  costs.

Cancellation applies only from the date of receipt by the Owner of the Cancellation notification. The Owner will confirm the cancellation by email. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours you should contact the Owner by telephone. Cancellation charges  also  apply to partial cancellations (for  example where a Client books for  two weeks  but  amends to one week, in this case cancellation charges  would apply to the second cancelled week) .

4.2.The Owner does  not  operate any scheme  of  cancellation or travel insurance and you should obtain your own insurance cover for the holiday .

4.3.The Owner reserves the right to cancel the booking any time in the event of  circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Owner or  if in the reasonable  opinion of  the  Owner it  is  necessary to undertake essential works at the Property . In these unlikely circumstances then the Owner will refund in full all money received by us for the booking. The Owner will not otherwise be liable for any loss incurred by you as a result of the cancellation.

5. Occupation of the Property

5.1. You must not use the Property  for  any  purpose  other  than that of a  holiday .

5.2. The number of people staying in the Property must not exceed the number agreed at the time of booking without prior written agreement from the Owner and the use of tents or sleeping in motor vehicles adjacent to the Property is not permitted.

5.3. You will use the Property as a private dwelling only and will not   allow anything to be done on the property which may cause damage, be a nuisance, disturbance or annoyance. No parties or similar functions are permitted. No fireworks shall be taken onto or left off from the Property.

5.4. The Property is strictly no   smoking indoors.

5.5. You and your guests must comply with any reasonable regulations relating to the Property , or the site within which the Property is situated , which will be sent to you upon receipt of your final payment and are so available at the Property.

5.6.If you have any special needs or requests (for example  relating to small children or mobility)  you  must  discus  them  with  the Owner at  time  of  booking.

6.Obligations

6.1. You agree to keep the Property and its  contents in the same  condition  and  repair  as  on  your  arrival  at  the Property.

6.2. You  are  required  to  lodge a  damage  deposit   of  600€ with  the  Owner  against breakages  , damage , losses or  extra  cleaning. If  damage to the Property or  its  contents exceeds this  then you will be responsible for  the full cost. This  includes  any loss or  damage  to  the  Property  as  a  result  of  your  negligence .

6.3 You must allow anyone authorized the by Owner to enter the property during the holiday. The Owner will endeavour to give you reasonable notice of such a visit except in an emergency when immediate access must be allowed.

6.4.You must  ensure that  the  Property is  left  in  a  clean and  tidy  condition on your  departure at the end of your holiday .

6.5. No animals can be brought into the properties without prior permission from the owner.

7. Cancellations  by  us

If for any reason, beyond our control, we have to cancel the client's booking we will refund the amount paid to us for the property rent. You will be liable for any cancellation charges for travel.

8.Arrival  and  Departure

8.1 Arrival time is 4 pm , departure time 11 a.m.

8.2. Early  check in and  late  check  out  may be  arranged  but  are  subject  to  availability  and  will incur  additional  costs.

10. Complaints

Descriptions in the Summary and Property Listing are made in good faith and verified by us.  We cannot be held accountable for failure of utilities or other essential services. We will, through our local professionals, do our utmost to solve any problems. Should problems arise inform the Owner immediately. Inconveniences do not entitle you to a refund. Complaints lodged at the end of the rental period will not be taken in consideration. 

11. Liability of the Owner

The property owner and  Ville d’ Oro are not liable for damages. You and your party will not hold them responsible for any damages incurred during your stay on the property. This includes but is not limited to injuries, fire or water damage, and theft. Neither Ville d’ Oro  nor the owner is liable for consequential damages.

12. Jurisdiction

This agreement (contract) is subject to Greek and English law. In the event of controversy arising from the  booking  and  property  rental , only the Greek Courts can deal with the matter.

The payment  of  the  deposit  or  full payment  of  the  rental  fee will constitute  your  agreement  of  all terms  and  conditions of  rental  as  listed  above .

If any of  the  conditions  of  this agreement are or  become  or  are  deemed to  be  invalid , or if there is any omission from any terms and conditions , the remaining terms and conditions will remain valid and enforceable and cannot be  contested .
